II Ukrainian Olympiad on Hebrew and Jewish literature14 Êâ³òíÿ 2016
March 29-31, 2016 Chernivtsi ORT specialized school ¹41 housed the final stage of the II Ukrainian Olympiad on Hebrew and Jewish literature. 15 students from six regions of Ukraine and Kyiv showed their knowledge of Hebrew and Jewish literature during the final stage of the Olympiad. 10 of them attend urban secondary schools, 5 - private schools. Last year the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine issued a decree that allows competition on minority languages, among which is Hebrew. The first Olympiad was held last year in Odessa, the second - in Chernivtsi this year. Our congratulations to the winners of the Olympiad: Sarah Margolina, 9th grade student and Daria Tsopa, 11th grade student of Dnipropetrovsk Jewish school ¹144; to the 2nd place winner – David Izrailov, 9th grade student of Kyiv specialized school ¹325 "Simha" and to Chernivtsi ORT school ¹41 students Eugenia Kryklyvets (9th grade) and Christina Bodnaryuk (10th grade) who won 3rd place in the competition. Winners and participants of the Olympiad were awarded with valuable prizes and gifts. See also:
